According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are obliged to inform you about the purpose for which our practice collects, stores, or transmits data. 2. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

Data processing occurs due to legal requirements to fulfil the treatment contract between you and your doctor and the associated obligations.

To this end, we process your personal data, particularly your health data. This includes medical history, diagnoses, treatment proposals, and findings that we or other doctors collect. Other doctors or psychotherapists, with whom you are in treatment, may also provide us with data for these purposes (e.g. in medical letters).

The collection of health data is a prerequisite for your treatment. If the necessary information is not provided, careful treatment cannot take place.


3. RECIPIENTS OF YOUR DATA

We only pass on your personal data to third parties if this is legally permitted or you have consented. Recipients of your personal data can mainly be other doctors / psychotherapists, statutory health insurance associations, health insurance companies, the medical service of the health insurance, medical associations and private medical billing offices.

The transmission mainly occurs for the purpose of billing for services rendered to you, to clarify medical questions and questions arising from your insurance relationship. In individual cases, data may also be sent to other entitled recipients.


4. STORAGE OF YOUR DATA

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the implementation of treatment.

Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to store this data for at least 10 years after the conclusion of treatment. According to other regulations, longer retention periods may apply, for example, 30 years for X-ray recordings in accordance with § 28 paragraph 3 of the X-ray regulation.


5. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data. You can also request the correction of inaccurate data.

In addition, you have the right, under certain conditions, to request deletion of data, the right to restrict the processing of data, and the right to data portability.

The processing of your data is based on legal regulations. Only in exceptional cases do we require your consent. In these cases, you have the right to withdraw your consent for future processing.

You also have the right to complain to the responsible data protection authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful.

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you. You can also request the rectification of incorrect data.

Furthermore, you have the right to erasure of data, the right to restriction of processing, and the right to data portability under certain conditions.
