First trimester diagnostics
Early Certainty: Discover why looking into the first trimester is so important.
First Trimester Diagnostics: Early Insight into Your Child's Development
The sonographic diagnostics in the first part of the pregnancy already allows a very early assessment of the physical development of the fetus. This form of fine diagnostics helps to detect potential developmental disorders in a timely manner and also offers expectant parents a first emotional connection to the baby. Depending on needs, further examination options – for example, genetic tests or specialized ultrasound techniques – may be useful.
First Trimester Screening
The first trimester screening provides information about the risk of chromosomal disorders (e.g., Down syndrome, trisomy 13, trisomy 18) by combining factors such as the age of the pregnant woman, two blood values, and the nuchal translucency measured by ultrasound.
Cell-free DNA Test (Non-invasive Prenatal Test NIPT)
The non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) is a complementary molecular genetic method that allows for a more precise assessment of the presence of chromosomal disorders.
Both methods are central components of prenatal diagnostics and are used in our practice for women's medicine in such a way that you receive comprehensive and individually tailored care.
